iSARE-MICROGRID

iSARE-MICROGRID

Work groups in the field of energy efficiency and intelligent electrical networks, whose main objective is to create an intelligent micro-network that is efficient, sustainable and safe, as a test bench to develop and experiment the status of different technologies to generate and store energy. Thanks to this project, all the EICT sector companies will be in the vanguard of intelligent networks. http://www.i-sare.net/

GAIA NET EXCHANGE

GAIA NET EXCHANGE

An intelligent data connectivity platform that enables clients of ERP system manufacturers, members of GAIA, to exchange electronically invoices, delivery notes, orders and other types of documents that are frequently used every day in the management of their companies. There are 14 member companies taking part in this initiative and 160 companies are taking part as clients http://www.gaianetexchange.com/

LIVING LABS

Research methodology originally from the MIT to test, validate, carry out prototypes and refine complex solutions in real environments that are constantly evolving - a usual scenario in the EICT sector. Living Labs are a new concept for research, development and innovation, based on the involvement of users in all the stages of this process, generating information and a framework of trust with high potential to create product and services based on New Technologies.

Some of the scenarios that are being analysed in collaboration with other agents (technology centres, universities, Clusters and Social Networks) are:

  • Mobility Lab: a Living Lab that allows to involve users, whether they be organisations, companies or people, in all the stages of a process for mobility solutions. Mobility Lab promotes Open Structured Innovation.
  • Birds Living Lab: a centre where visitors can watch birds and take part in research projects. It is a project with a high natural and environmental interest, to study and explain the phenomenon of migration in a privileged environment like Urdaibai, thus allowing efficient involvement of users. The Birds Living Lab combines and promotes research, tourism and environmental education, supported by new technologies.
  • Sportis Lab: its main target is the market of sports and well-being. Its main aim is to meet the need for quality of life of people by means of application of different technologies and also to reform the sports industry with the use of new technologies.

e-LIFE
